Richie Rich The Barber: A barbershop that comes to you, with a site that books it
A mobile barber who brings haircuts, hot towel shaves and facials to the client's door across Miami and Orlando. The business needed a website that explained a new kind of service, showed real prices, took bookings on a phone and stayed online without the owner managing servers. TGI designed and built the site and its booking, and hosts it.
The challenge
Where the business stood when we started.
A new kind of service needs explaining
Clients are used to going to a shop. The site had to show, fast, what an at-home barber brings, how hygiene is handled and what to expect when he arrives.
Choosing a service should take seconds
Haircuts, shaves and facials each come with several options. Visitors needed to see what is on offer and what it costs without having to ask.
A home visit needs different booking details
A shop booking is a time slot. A home visit also needs the address, so the booking had to collect where to go as well as when.
Booking had to be easy on a phone
Most people look for a barber on their phone, so the path from the page to a reserved time had to be short and always one tap away.
A barber should cut hair, not run servers
The site and booking had to stay up and fast without the owner handling hosting, updates or fixes.
What we did
Built as one system, in accounts the client owns.

- 01
A website built around the at-home promise
Six pages: Home, About, Services, Our Work, Contact and Reservation. Each repeats the same message: premium grooming at the client's door, with nothing to prepare but a chair and good light.
- 02
A priced service menu
Twelve services in three groups (haircuts, shaves and facials) with the price next to each one, so visitors can choose before they book.
- 03
Booking, built two ways
A reservation form on its own page, and a Book now button on every page that opens an appointment booking panel with location search. Visitors can use whichever suits them.
- 04
A booking form designed for home visits
The form collects name, phone, email, service, date, time and the address where the barber should come, plus a message for anything special.
- 05
Trust for first-time clients
Sections on the professional barber, sanitised tools, quality equipment and modern styles, a meet-the-barber profile, client reviews and a FAQ on service area, what to prepare and how to book.
- 06
Hosting managed by TGI
The site runs on hosting TGI sets up and looks after, with a cookie-consent notice and a newsletter sign-up in place. The owner has one team for the website, the booking and the servers.

How a booking works
From the page to a confirmed visit in four steps.
1. Choose a service
Haircut, grooming, hot towel shave or facial treatment, picked from a list.
2. Pick a date and time
Monday to Saturday, from the reservation page or the Book now panel.
3. Add the address
The visitor says where the barber should come, so the booking is complete in one go.
4. Send it
The request goes to the barber, who takes it from there.
